Are your installers your employees or independent?

We have both.  Our independents are installers who have a solid work history in the industry and proven workmanship.

Do you offer free estimates?

A.

Yes, we offer free estimates after a customer visits our showroom to look at all their best flooring options.

Will you install the flooring I bought elsewhere?

A.

We choose not to install flooring purchased elsewhere because we cannot warranty it. We also may not be familiar with the quality of the product in terms of installation.

Will you match somebody else’s price?

Hauglie’s has found that on an apples to apples basis we are almost always very close to our competitors however we pride ourselves on providing top notch installation that not all companies can provide.

Are you open on the weekend?

A.

Our regular business hours are M - F, 9AM – 5PM.  We will open our showroom during evening or weekend hours by appointment.

Do you carry all kinds of flooring?

Yes, Hauglie’s carries all varieties of flooring that we know perform well and coincide with companies that stand behind their products.  We proudly offer quality flooring options for all projects.

We love to help customers design their projects and have experience working alongside many top notch designers as well.

Do you guarantee your workmanship/product?

We honor manufacturer warranties which vary from product to product.  Our workmanship is guaranteed for 1 year.

How long do I have to wait for my new floor to be installed?

A.

Hauglie’s sales process:

  • Customer visit to showroom to look at flooring options
  • Hauglie’s professional to measure job site and create estimate
  • Order materials (Generally takes approximately 1 week to receive for most materials unless a shipping delay is encountered or product is backordered)
  • Schedule installation

What is your service area?

We service the entire Twin Cities metro area and Western Wisconsin

Do you service both residential and commercial customers and is there a minimum or maximum size requirement?

A.

Hauglie’s works with both residential and commercial projects ranging from small repairs to home remodels to large scale commercial property management and everything in between.

I’m selling/renting my home, do you have something inexpensive to install?

A.

We have reasonable options that have proven to be successful for people selling or renting their home.

Do you have flooring in stock or will it have to be ordered?

A.

We have a couple of options in stock as well as remnants, but most people special order their flooring.  In most cases new flooring will arrive here to us within a week of placing the order.

Will you do you repair work that you didn’t install and will it include a warranty?

A.

We can offer repair work whether in most cases whether we completed the initial installation or not.  Repair work is never guaranteed and will not include a warranty of any type.

What is the process to replace flooring?

A.

  • Education of different products available to determine what will best suit your needs
  • Materials selected and samples taken with customer to choose best color at project site
  • Free measure and estimate done by a Hauglie’s professional
  • Down payment made and materials ordered
  • Schedule installation
  • Demo (if necessary) and install
  • Final invoice sent
